Through our publications, Dolphin Books aims to promote and improve intercultural communication between children and young people throughout the world, as well as shaping and presenting Chinese youths’ international image. In the last thirty years and more, Dolphin Books has published a diversity of high-quality children’s books, including Best Chinese Children’s Literature, This Is the 24 Solar Terms, Cai Zhizhong Primers on Chinese Classics, etc. We have also published many national projects such as Complete Works of Feng Zikai, Selected Works of Xu Yuanchong, and China: Insight Traditions and Culture. More than 100 of Dolphin titles have been licensed overseas, outstanding examples of which include China: Selected Readings, Dictionary of Gesar, Oral Account of Tibetan Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritors, and Historical Truth of the Diaoyu Islands, etc.
Dolphin Books has been listed by China’s Ministry of Commerce as one of the “Key Cultural Export Enterprises” for four consecutive years. Currently, through extensive cooperation with international organizations and overseas institutions, Dolphin Books is organizing a variety of cultural and educational events for the purpose of incubating internationally applicable IPs for children. As part of our effort to go digital in publishing, provide knowledge service, and engage in integrated IP management, we are working with publishers and cultural enterprises at home and abroad to build a global database of Chinese children’s books together with a platform of fusion media for self-publication of children’s books.
Dolphin Books invites all like-minded partners to join hands with us, to explore the great potentials of reading, and to contribute to a more beautiful future for mankind.
